Why is comcast so bloody expensive?
I've had comcast bussiness internet for about 6-7 years when i first signed up it was $100 per month for 21mbps down & about 7 mbps up. About 3-4 months ago it was raised to $120 per month. Now i just saw an article that Minneaplois a company called US Internet is offering 1 Gigabit (YES GIGABIT) internet for $65 a month and also offer speeds up to 10 gigabit. Why do I have to pay double that for internet that is a little over 33 times slower then 1 Gigabit for $65? If anything you would have thought my bill would have gone down since bandwidth speeds are increasing all over the world & technology is getting cheaper & better. Im just curious to comcast logic on this one. Im still waiting for century link to upgrade there network & google fiber to get finished in Portland, OR so I can finally leave the tyrant called comcast. I live downtown Portland, OR and comcast is the only thing i can get that is high speed. Only other option is century link dsl of 2mbps down & 512k up. You would think living in the middle downtown of Portland OR the silicone forest I would have more then 1 option of high speed internet. I hate you comcast so very much & can't wait to leave you bastards. Here is the link to the minneapolis gigabit article: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/24/minneapolis-gets-10-gigabit-fiber-access
