Voice and text settings link goes into a web loop

I opened a ticket several weeks back and never got any reply or contacts. So  hoping somebody here can assist me.

 

Recreate scenario:

1. login to comcast bussiness account

2. click on manager tools

3. under manage Services, click on Phone

4. I then get a message Alert

Authentication Failed
Sorry, we are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again later. 

Take me to the Comcast.net main page.
 
5. click on "take me to the comcast.net main page"
6. sign in with my residential account
7. Select Voice and Text on left side and just before the looping begins I see a "network error" prompt that goes away quikly.
 
When I had my voice uder my residential account I never had this issue. Now that my voice is under my business account  I think the system is confused as to which accont I should be using.
 
The browser url  loops on "http://vmail.connect.comcast.net/voice/?auth=done" and I have this issue in IE and Chrome.
 
Another thing...whoich is not critical right now, but somebody has to look at all their web pages, so many broken links which is very disturbing for a "business account".
 
Hope somebody can help. Have not bene able to access any voice features for several weeks now.

Welcome vinylb.  We have updated the credentials for your account .  Also please utilize the below link for access to the Business Digital Voice Center.

Please let me know if your are unable complete your Business Voice set-up.

Thank you for assisting John.

 

I clicked on link , entered my credentials for business account and was then prompted by another signon at this page:

 

https://login.comcast.net/login

 

Interestingly..there is a message above the field to enter a user name and message in red is "The username and password entered do not match. Please try again."

 

I tried to enter my Business account details, it failed. i then entered my residential account details and was allowed in.

Howvever clicking on the voice link again takes me into a web loop.

Hi vinylb.  The link in your post is for Residential Services.  Try clearing the stored

and form the browser and restest.

I cleared out forms data,  passwords and cache in IE and Chrome and still go to that residential website.

Somehow Comcast backend still thinks my voice account is residential - at least thats what I am interpreting from this.

 

The logon page also has this verbiage next tp the signon fields:

 

Comcast Digi| Voice is now being redirected to
XFINITY Connect - a more comprehensive destination
for all your communications that is included with your
XFINITY Voice service at no additional cost
