Transferring Service Location
I called and went through a small talk about transfering my internet service from my current location to a new location. That call went fine, he seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and it made sense. To me that means that my service location changes on my account, have a "mandatory installation" of my internet at my new location and I am done. Instead it seems as though a new service account was started alongside my existing account, both of the accounts have "service requests" that are scheduled. The new account has it scheduled the day I requested, 8/10/15, and my current account has a service scheduled for 8/20/15.
I do not understand what process is goign on here, I thought I was requesting something fairly simple. I want to make sure that I am not about to get screwed and have two accounts running and racking up charges, I just want the service I had at location 1 to be at location 2.
I do not know who to contact to get this cleared up and assure me that the service is just changing locations, and that I am not adding or changing services.

Hello Bluesnow and welcome,
Whenever a business class customer transfet his services from one location to another the process works as follows:
1. You speak to a business sales representative and he insures the set up your service at your new location. this means that you will be signing a new Service Order Agreement (SOA) for this new location and you will be receiving a new account number for same. I believe this is your Aug 10 date referenced in your post.
2. After you return the signed SOA, you will be scheduled for your new services to be installed at your new location. Also at this time, there will be a service order disconnect scheduled for you old location. I believe this is your Aug 20 date referenced in your post. This disconnect service order is always after the new service date for the obvious reasons.
If you have any further question about any aspect of your business services relocation, please simply contact 800-391-3000, use any hish speed internet technical option, this technical agent will answer any questions you have about any aspect of your relocation process.
Hope this helps you out.

Okay, that works. I just needed to hear the process laid out, the business sales rep made it sound like it was just going to be a transfer on the same account, so I got worried when I saw another account spawn up, and different dates. Thank you for the response.
