Tired of the sneaky extra fees
Every few months, my bill goes up. I have to dive into the past bills, current bills and find out what's different. This month it's a a "number directory management fee". So I have to call to find out it's a new fee to have my phone number listed in the 411 directory. Who uses that anymore? I declined but the major beef I have is they never ask if you want to opt IN to these superfluous "services" or "extras". Instead, they sneak the additional charges on your bill and it's on us -- our time, our effort, our trouble -- to investigate and tell them we never wanted this in the first place and never asked for it. So sick and tired of these underhanded practices. Keep it up Comcast and I'm out of here as soon as my contract is up.

Phoenix88, thanks for posting about your billing concerns pertaining to fees. We understand the importance of knowing exactly what you're paying for especially when it comes to business expenses. If there are any other fees you need clarity on, please don't hesitate to let me know.

I think we would all appreciate it if you changed your tactics and offered more transparency and advance notice. It is the courteous thing to do and would go a long way to maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. If that directory service was such a great deal you would have promoted it, not snuck it in. I have lost trust in your company over these billing issues.

This is not the experience I wanted for you. Typically when price changes occur, we do post the changes in advance on your printed bill a few cycles before the changes occur. However, fees and government-related charges are subject to change at any time. Thanks for your feedback. I will send this to my leadership.
