Sold business and now cannot get contract stopped

Hello I have sold my business and need to stop my account.  I had a sales rep keep my business by lowering my rate by over 100 dollars but I guess they got me to sign a 2 year contact.  My bad an I feel foolish but I have been a very loyal customer for many a year.   Can someone at Comcast help out?  I do not want this to get ugly.

Thanks

Tony

Hi tonyholland00 and welcome to the forums! I can certainly check to see what options there are for a loyal customer like yourself. Please click on my handle (Comcast_Gina) and send a private message with your name, the business name, the complete service address (including city, state, ZIP, suite number, etc), and the phone or account number and we'd be glad to look into this.

So quick update to this problem.  Someone called me from Comcast Business saying I needed to talk to residential to move my service.  They transferred me to residential Xfinity.   The Xfinity rep then said they would end my business service and start new residentail service.  Was on the phone for several hours to do this but in the end had a new 1 year term with Xfinity and statified my business contract.

Fast forward to today , someone from Comcast business now says they cannot honor that commitment, and that I am unable to move my service.

What a mess.   I dont understand why Comcast cannot treat their loyal long term customers better than this.
