Security Edge - Site blocked

Hello,

I have a client that's website is blocked and shows Malware and Phishing. The site has been verified to be clean.

Please remove the following from the Security Edge list as well as the Xfinity Advanced Security list.

https://www.mplsdowntown.com

We have submitted the site to https://spa.xfinity.com but only get the initial response and nothing following.

Also please tell us the appropriate channel to contact about this in the future.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_675cb5. The best option to have any blocked site removed is through the customer security team either at the https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/ site or by contacting them directly at 1-888-565-4329.

@Comcast_JohnG The page you linked to, just links to the same report page at spa.xfinity.com. The one I mentioned above that we already filled out, and no one is responding.

This isn't the first time this has happened with clients and is quite annoying. In general I tell my own clients to disable Advanced Security or Security Edge becasuse the service is poor and is not updated frequently and causes so many issues. It doesn't work and is hurting business because potential leads can't get to a website due to your companies poor updating of a site.

We had an issue months ago, it was fixed. All checkers and lists are confirming clean.

Okay, that security team is normally the best option for those types of problems. You may need to contact the Business team directly at the https://business.comcast.com/help-and-support/contact-us/ site or call the 1-800-391-3000 number to see if they have different options.

After a week of back and forth dealing with similar issues recently, the Business support team remained clear they were convinced there was no way to even contact the Security Edge folks for false positive blocks and the only way to permanently disable security edge requires a subscription change (it will reactivate otherwise).
