No speed increase for Seattle area Business Class internet?

Hello all,

I just got off the phone with a very kind Business Class rep. Recently, there was a huge speed increase for (apparently) residential, and not business class internet; she was unaware that there was any such increase.

I could not find a way to e-mail any info, so I set up a forum account to hopefully get some better information.

If it is true that no business class internet is getting a speed upgrade, allow me to convey how frustrating that is for me. The main reason that I switched to business class was for the customer service, which truthfully, has been quite responsive and helpful whenever I have had to call. However, this situation does not make sense to me. I am paying significantly more for the same speed internet as residential. I was ok with this because of the better support. Now, having them pay less than me, and have DOUBLE the speed as me(for the same tier), is quite frustrating, and seems a poor showing for your business customers.

If it is in fact true that your business class customers do not get any speed bump, I would urge you to reconsider, and I hope that others who feel similarly to me might speak up. Thank you for your service, I look forward to hearing back from someone soon.

Hello Seattle_sound sorry for the delay,

Comcast Business has a speed tier increase fall of last year, and yes unfortunately the speed increase that is happening for Xfinity residential services now is at the moment only applicable for residential services. We are always finding ways to improve our service and we appreciate your feedback and we will be sure to share it with our product development and marketing teams.

Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience at this time.
