New FCC regulation requiring 25MBs download speeds.

Just wondering what, if any, plans Comcast has for business class internet accounts using speeds slower than 25MBs now that the FCC has determined anything slower than 25MBs is not high speed internet.

arcthepirate,

Thank you for the question and welcome to the Help & Support Forums. Most of our Business Internet speed tiers are in excess of the FCC's new definition of broadband; but we will continue to offer lower speeds at econmical prices for our customers who are budget-concscious. Please let us know if you have any other questions and thank you again for reaching out.

That is great that you will continue to offer an economical solution, but it will not be broadband. I have twice the speed on my residential line for less than my business service.  (Yes I know the business class has better uptime..., which by the way my office internet goes down more than my residential).

I would think from a marketing stand point it would be nice to say that all of Comcast's Business internet services meet broadband speeds.  It would not be hard from a technical stand point and would still be half the speeds of the next tier (Deluxe 50).  25/3 you would not even have to change the upload speeds.
