Need help understanding a Contract situation
I've been a Comcast Business customer since 2014. in 2021, I moved from a previous location to my current location. I've signed several contracts over the years. The issue now is I signed a contract on September 21 for faster internet at a reduced cost. I've talked with two different agents (once in sales and one in disconnects) and I got two completely different answers.
My question was, if my new contract I signed on September 21 2026 (about a month ago) is not serviced by October 21, does this let me disconnect my service with no early termination fees. The first representative said no; in fact he said "It's like they balled the contract up and threw it away". I thought that was an odd answer seen as how I have the contract I signed and if you "balled it up and threw it away", I still have my copy. The second representative was in disconnects and he told me I can disconnect on the 21 (or maybe it was 22) if the contract I signed is not servicable.
What is the correct answer for my situation? I have been a loyal customer since 2014 and I have been very disappointed with both the Internet service and mobile service. Long internet outages, terrible mobile coverage in my area and slow data. When this potential opportunity arrived to allow me to disconnect, I was jumping up an down with joy (was not my intent). However, before I make any actions, I want to clarify what is happening, what I can do legally, or if there is anything that you all can help me out with.
