Lies when Trying to cancel Business Class Internet
I have a IT Home Lab for experimenting, testing and running my personal email. I have the business class internet just for static ip's. I have been working with retention since February of 2015, trying to get my bill down after a service discount was removed and my static ip raised in price. I could not justify paying over $100 for a hobby and education purposes. I told retention to try to get the price under $100, they couldn't since I didn't have any other services. After paying for this service for over 6 years, i thought they could at least put the $10 service discount back on my account. I was also talking to my verizon enterprise rep, he was able to get me fios way under $100 with statics, I told retention and they still didn't budge on the price. I didn't want to do it, i had to do it, so i signed up for Verizon. So, i go to disconnect Comcast, and find out that their is a 60-day notice required. after all that talk in retention I can't believe that didn't come up once, since it's a pretty good deterrent for me to stay with comcast. So, I ask my wife to talk to retention, she was told the cut off date was april 1st and 60-day was waived. I called a couple day a later when the modem was still active to find out my cut off date is May 29th, so we call again, and a manager was going to call back. Of course, the manager never did, so we call again, they didn't transfer my wife to a manager, but they didn't say the disconnect and bill cut off date was April 13th. Today, we were told the service should be off by now, so we call again to find the cut off date is May 29th. My wife was able to get a senior on the phone, but not a manager, that said there was nothing they can do even though we were told it 60-day waive as a courtesy. I gave comcast a chance then retention lied twice, i want the recordings pulled. I have a home lab not a business, i can't take this off my taxes like a business does, so pennies kind of count especially when the pennies equal over $100 a year and outside of my budget. My wife is in customer service, she is pissed about being lied to multiple times and then today a retention rep insults my wife. Right now, Comcast Business class is loosing any chances of winning my business back in the future if have to bid out my internet service again. Any chance of implementing what two reps said was done and have the 60-day notice STAY wiaved?

Thanks. Between your actions and @ComcastCares, the matter has been resolved. I was able to get April 16th as the cut off date, it might not have been April 1st, but it's much better than paying for service that I'm not using till the end of May. I'm not complaining.
Thanks
David.
