How to disable a stolen modem/router so thief can't use it

Our business closed a satelite office and the employees took the router/modem with them.  Is there a way to disable it so they can't use it?

Hey @user_3266bb! I'm sorry to hear about the stolen equipment. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. The good news is our system won't allow us to active one piece of equipment on more than one account, so as long as that equipment is tied to yours, they won't be able to activate it on another account. I'd love to take a deeper look at what else we can do to help keep you protected and prevent the use of the equipment in the future. Can you please send Comcast Business a private message using our peer to peer chat service by clicking on the chat icon in the top right corner of the page? Once you hit that chat icon, you'll be able to initiate a new chat with Comcast Business so we can continue helping out there. We look forward to meeting you there!

Hi Katie,

I tried the peer to peer chat and it wanted to know when I wanted to chat with.  I put your name in and it said you didn't exist.

Thanks for the update! We aren't able to receive private messages directly anymore, so you'd want to send the message to "Comcast Business" and we'll be able to get your message there to help. :)
