How do I apply for tax exempt status?
Hi,
I work for a church and I would like to submit the necessary paperwork to qualify our church as sales tax exempt. Can you please provide directions for doing this?
Thank you,

Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to reach out to the Digital Care Team here through the forums. We understand how important having the tax-exempt form is for your business and you have reached the right team to help. Can you please send us a private message with your name, the full address, and the phone or account number?

Hi Anisa,
I can't send a private message because I have "reached my limit"!
This seems crazy to me, I've responded to you once in a private message and also to Gabe in a private message and now I seem to be locked out of the system.
I'd be happy to supply you with the phone number, although it was optional when I started this process, so I included the account number.

Uh oh! I'm sorry about that! Clearing cache and cookies seems to resolve that error in most cases. Can you please try it and let me know if you are able to get back to us in a private message after?

Hmm, I just tried to proactively message you. Let me know if you see it and reply there if possible.

Hi Gina,
It's me AGAIN.........still no response from Comcast "Back Office Billing" regarding my quest for being listed as Tax Exempt. This is beyond ridiculous, I have been working on this since November 11, 2020. I have twice emailed the necessary documents that Comcast requires to get this done.
One of the cool things about this forum, according to what I have read on here is that there is a "written trail" of the conversations and progress, so please do not request that I resubmit what I have already giving Comcast on numerous occasions. You already have the account names, account numbers, the phone numbers (plus my personal number) and the appropriate state documents to approve my tax exempt status.
I would like to hear from someone in the Back Office Billing department regarding the two emails I sent (Nov. 18, 2020 & Feb. 4, 2021) with the requested information.
Thank you,
LHook

There is no option to send a Comcast Business message.
Cannot respond to a previous message because the 'rate limit has been exceeded.'
You should be able to find the last private message I sent to Comcast_Tru_Joe on February 3rd with all the info you are requesting.
In lieu of that how do I get a real live body from the back office on the phone? I've submitted the information to them twice and they haven't followed up!

Is there are reason someone from Comcast can't say 'here's the email address you submit your state's sales tax exemption certificate to?'

I also work for a nonprofit and am trying to figure out how to submit our tax exemption. I don't see anything on this page about sending a private message. Can someone update this with the new procedure?

Why does comcast make it so difficult to apply for tax exempt status? Why is there not just a link or email to send them to like every other company?
