FORMAL CORPORATE ESCALATION REQUEST – Order 42017306 – $2,119 Contract/Billing Dispute
I am filing a billing complaint concerning Comcast Business Service Order [Edited: "Personal Information"]. The signed 24-month order specifies a $140 package for months 1–24 including Business Internet Advanced, SecurityEdge and one Mobility Line, while additional Mobility Lines are separately priced at $25 each. We had four lines. In October 2025 we ported only P4, telephone number [Edited: "Personal Information"], leaving P1-P3 active. Instead of reducing the bill by the $25 additional-line charge, Comcast removed the underlying promotional package pricing and increased the monthly bill from approximately $240 to approximately $380.
Comcast now states that changing a Mobility Line “voided the contract,” but after approximately two hours of escalation on October 20, 2026, Comcast has not identified a provision of the signed agreement stating that removal of an additional Mobility Line terminates the package when three Mobility Lines remain active. The signed order itself states that only one Mobility Line is included/required and separately prices additional lines.
The resulting excess charges are presently calculated at $2,119. Comcast will alter our pricing prospectively but refuses any historical reimbursement. We are requesting a contractual billing review, identification of the provision allegedly authorizing the repricing, restoration/recalculation of the agreed pricing, and reimbursement of the resulting excess charges. We have also submitted a formal Notice of Dispute to Comcast.
