Email Problems

I'm using Thunderbird as our email client. I order to receive email we are having to reset the cable modem continualy. Once reset, we will get emails for a day or two than its stops until we reset again. In Thunderbird, I see a message the it is connect to imap.comcast.net but nothing downloads. At the same time we are not able to send email

Hello,we are having issues downloading emails into Thunderbird. When we open Thunderbird I see a message that says " Connecting to imap.comcast.net" but nothing downloads. If I power off or reset the cable modem that we get email for a day or so than it stops again until I repeat the rest process. This has been going on for a long time now and I have contacted the on-line support with no luck. I tried switching over to Outlook but the same issue occurs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

businesss support sucks....must be 24/7  how do i log into web portal for comcast email and no no mention of in account preference or billing info useless

but it did aask me if i wanted to PAY my AUTO pay account early reminds me of the centurylink CEO that embezzled all that money some years ago, they should have customers vote prior approving any franchises by paid off officials....cannot wait untill more competition comes to town

Are you referring to a comcastbiz.net email?

The comcastbiz.net emails through us were discontinued but you can now use our Cloud Solutions partners to manage your email services. 

 

I no longer work for Comcast.
