Early termination fee

I just closed down the business permanently due to lock of business.

I spoke to customer care today and informed that I need to pay early termination fee due to remaining contract. Upon research I have come across this

"SERVICES CUSTOMER TERMS AND
CONDITIONS, Section 5.2 Termination
for Cause Section (c) A Service Order
may be terminated by either party
immediately upon notice if the other
party has become insolvent or involved
in liquidation or termination of its
business, etc. This is understood that
we terminated for cause by the
customer. He then said to read the
definition of Termination Charges which
I did. It states, "Termination Charges:
Except as otherwise provided herein,
charges that may be imposed by
Comcast if, prior to the end of the
applicable Service Term (a) Comcast
terminates Services for cause or (b)
Customer terminates any Service

without cause."

Looking forward to get some help on thi matter.

Thanks

I was contacted about switch to home internet from business and was told there would be no fees from switching within the company, what do you know extra $300+ in fees that they sent directly to collections while I have been disputing it with them. Bill was due at the beginning of May switched April 2 in collections already.

user_f34f24 Thanks for reaching out to us about your recent switch from business to residential service, and fees that were applied we need to assist you with. You have come to the right place to get all your concerns addressed, and we are happy to help.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
