Early termination fee

I have had Comcast business for my internet for 3 years now. Unfortunately I have had to close my business down completely. I called to end my service and was told there will be a $770 early termination fee!! I explained the situation and asked them to waive it and they refused. I asked for them to escalate it to a manager and they refused. How am I expected to pay this amount for a service I am not getting?! I am disgusted with the customer service of Comcast, absolutely disgusted that they would charge me this. Is there no recourse to this?

@user_3eef92 We are truly sorry to hear that you had to close down your business. I understand how frustrating the early termination fee would be. Please send us a DM to Comcast Business for further assistance with your full name, address and phone number.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list.
A "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

We've been with them 13 years and our lease was not renewed so our business had to close. They won't budge. Closing your business, even moving to a non serviced area does not count as "cause" in their book. The whole thing is shady and they just don't care at all.  I was told they had to recover the costs they were promised in our contract, for the duration of our contract. Mind you business phone and internet is exponentially higher than residental, for the same crappy service. No one will help. So sorry to say you are likely stuck.
