**DISCONNECT BILLING DISPUTE **

We cancelled our comcast business internet June 04, 2024, filled out the disconnect request that same day, received an acknowledgement. I paid my bill in advance to June 15, 2024.  I then received a bill for services from June 15, 2024-July 14, 2024, which I did not pay because I have already paid in advance through June 15th and cancelled service on June 4th, so why should I pay when services were cancelled as of June 4th. When I cancelled on June 4th the woman on the phone stated once I sign the disconnection, there is no going back, services will be immediately disconnected..  I closed by business on June 01, 2024.  Comcast bills in advance, I paid in advance and now they are saying that I owe for the period through July 04, 2024.  I never received my last bill in the mail, maybe a mix up because we closed up our business.  I have been a customer of comcast for many, many years with various accounts.

How can a company charge you for a service in advance after you cancelled services.  Looking to see what government agency I should contact, maybe the FCC.  The women I spoke to on the phone today just argued with me and resisted to let me speak to her supervisor. Oddly her supervisor was not available.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us on our Business forums, Ane. The billing is month in advance billing, and it's prorated to the day. Did you receive your final bill disconnection notice? Or, was it the most recent bill you had paid? What is the bill date, and, what dates of service does that bill cover? We'll get this sorted out so we're all on the same page.
