Credit stuck on closed account

I have had a $300+ credit on my account for months. Phone calls bring assurances that it will be returned back to the card that was charged, but that's never happened and I keep receiving monthly "bills" for $0 still showing the credit.

 

I liked Comcast service just fine while I did business in a location they serviced. The only reason I closed my account was that I relocated outside their service area. Even so, it's frustrating that this billing issue has dragged on for half a year.

I'm having the same problem.  Numerous phone calls and and two meetings face to face with a business representative and I still don't have my check from 2014.

I'm sure you'll be shocked to know that the private message I sent received NO REPLY and I was not contacted by anyone from Comcast to resolve the issue.

 

Hooray, they still have my money. Money I would use for groceries. Groceries I would feed to my children. Children who would stop crying all night if only they weren't so hungry.

 

Why does Comcast hate my children?

Hello Schwie welcome to the forum,

 

In many cases a credit balance will be held up due to un-returned equipment. Have you returned all Comcast equipment?

We also have a balance due from Comcast on our old account - two years after closing the office and ending service.
