Contract Ending soon... Switching Business Phone and Internet to Residential Service

My Comcast Business class contract is expiring in two months.  My company no longer will reimburse for business class services and I no longer have a need for business internet and phone (primarily unlimited data and a static IP address).

I have residential service for TV and I would like to consolidate my Internet and Phone services back to residential services.  My biggest concerns are... I don't want to lose my emails or phone number?

How do we start this process? Who do I contact within Comcast to make this happen as seamless as possible?

Hey @mdgdenver, thank you for reaching out to our Business forums. I certainly understand, with COVID many businesses needed to make that switch. As far as your email, you can still use your https://comca.st/3ujZ6US email address if you logged into your account in the 90 days prior to disconnecting your service. Your email account will remain active as long as you access it at least once every nine months.

With the phone service, we should be able to transfer it to your residential account. To get started, we ask you call (800) 391-3000 for assistance cancelling the account.

@Comcast_Nick Will there be any termination fees associated with cancelling the account? Especially given there is only 2 months left in the contract?

@mdgdenver, that is a great question and I'm not sure on that portion. There are several different variables that could change that but the Cancellation team would definitely go over it before making any changes.
