Comcast rep cancelled our order...

We planned to sign up for xfinity at our office, so I reached out to a local comcast rep who left his business card at our door a while ago. I asked him if there were any active promotions going on, he responded that, yes, there were in fact deals at this time. He emails us some pricing and I can immediately see that these so-called "deals" are actually priced $30/mo higher than the standard pricing on the comcast website, which I've already reviewed. I said - no thanks. Then proceeded to sign up on the comcast website directly, worked out all the details there and signed all the DocuSign docs. We were all done and set for install. A day later he calls and asks if I want to sign up with him, I said, no thanks, because your pricing was higher than the standard pricing on the website. He tells me I don't know what I'm talking about. He then emails me in the evening and says he cancelled our order, and wants us to sign up through him. I have a hard time believing this is a normal business practice at comcast, can someone chime in? We don't want to deal with this rep at all at this point with this kind of ridiculous attitude, how can he just hijack our account like this?
