Comcast fails to follow through on voice service cancellation

Spoke with Comcast agent Thursday, April 21, 2016 to request cancellation of voice phone service, having successfully ported my number to Microsoft Office 365. The agent reported that the port was still "pending" in their system, just as they had a month earlier when I requested same. This time I knew they were lying because I've received and made numerous calls through the Office 365 service.

 

I told him i didn't care if they showed it as complete or not, that I wasn't paying for it any longer. He said he would follow up by sending me an email to complete my voice service cancellation. It's Saturday, April 23 and still no email. I will not be paying for any service after April 21, so Comcast conduct yourselves accordingly.

The disconnect order has completed and your bill has been backdated accordingly.
