Caomcast unfair business practice

I was a loyal comcast business customer for almost 4 years   when i asked to disconnect the service i was informed that I would be charged for an extra 30 days of service and a disconnect fee of 490.00  (basically a scam fee for nothing)     I would lie this extra month of no service and disconnect fee to be waived.

Good Morning, @user_40f455! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Comcast Business Forums! That is certainly is not the experience we want for our customers. We are limited on access with the business accounts, and we would recommend reaching out to our phone support team here (800) 391-3000 to explore any options available with the 30-day cancellation fee.

They were no help.  I will file a complaint with federal trade commission and better business bureau 🙁

Are you able to share what are business support members advised you on regarding your final bill? Did they outline the terms of your agreement that equate to the final balances and fees?

No. They first offered to decrease the bill by $100 a month. But when I asked to disconnect they said it would cost another month service PLUS $490 disconnect fee (basically a fee for nothing, I disconnected the equipment and took it to UPS).    Very disappointed  and telling anybody that will listen how bad Comcast is. :(

@user_40f455 Our phone support team will have access to the billing portion of your account. They will be able to determine the if this disconnect fee is valid and provide you with the breakdown as to why they are/aren't able to waive this for you. Please give them another call and request to have this thoroughly reviewed to make sure nothing is overlooked.
