admin tool login password reset

I need the password on my modem's admin tool reset. I called to get it reset but the lady just said it was "highspeed", the default login, over and over again without actually listening to my request. I also tried holding the reset button but of course that did nothing either. I need help resetting this because this has been stressing me out all day.
