800-391-3000 new phone menu problems

Hey guys, I'm trying to call the 800-391-3000 number and haven't been able to get through. I got to the new phone menu once (the "Say what you want help with" menu), and eventually got to the point where the menu was going to hand me off to an agent. The line then went silent for over 10 minutes, and then hung up on me. Now, I'm trying to call the number back and I keep getting a busy signal?? I'm calling from outside Nashville, TN from a Verizon phone, roughly 5:45PM CST 8/3/2015

 

Are the kinks still getting worked out with this one?

The same thing is happening on the regular XFINITY number. Can't get through. Been that way since I started trying this morning (it's 7:10 pm now). Seems like all phone communication links are down. They probably have Comcast as their phone provider.

Hello goliwagmo and welcome, Yes, Comcast has been currently modifying their IVR systems to make it easier for customer's to access the support issue that they need. Unfortunately, there have been some glitches and quirks, which we apologize for, and are being worked at this time. I have added both train_wreck and your inputs to our IVR issues list. Thanks for your inputs. "They probably have Comcast as their phone provider".....chuckle, chuckle, chuckle 😉
