What service changes will be made in response to the new FCC Net Neutrality rules.

What changes will Comcat make to the small business internet offerings in response to the coming changes to FCC Net Neutrality rules?

Specifically:

- Will there be new plan options for offer serving different types of content from my network?

- Will there be different pricing for accessing internet services?  We use an off-site, remote, backup provider.  Will new plans be offered so that we can access our off-site backup provider at peak bandwidth?

Comcast isn't going to respond to anything like that anywhere since it would be considered a "promise" and dredged up in a lawsuit later.

But the simple answer is - nothing.  The net neutrality has nothing to do with end user customers.  It really has little to do with most websites also.   The companies most affected will be SIP trunk providers.  Their data must be prioritized for good call quality or SIP becomes unusable on the Internet.  They have been so far taking advantage of the rules to force Comcast to do this claiming that not prioritizing SIP data is the same as blocking it.  Now they are going to have to pay extra money for Comcast to do it.  So say goodby to ultra-cheap phone lines.
