Upstream connection <30% of agreed speed

Hi there,

I've seen similar threads on this topic and reviewed the Troubleshooting thread. We're paying for a 100/20 Mbps connection and this is the sort of performance I'm getting:

Hello plimptm and welcome to forums,

I was looking over your account to try and discover the source of your slow upload speeds. unfortunately the only thing that i saw would require a factory rest sent from my end. This process can take up to 40 minutes to complete. Please let me know when the best time of day for me to perform this rest.

Thank You

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the response. I would be willing to do this process. I sent you a PM with more information.

Comcast_Michael, is it still possible to follow up on this suggestion? I haven't heard anything.

I hate to keep bumping my own thread but I'd really like to followup on Comcast_Michael's suggestion - can you respond to my PM?

I've got the same issue.  I pay for 50/10 and my upload speeds are way less 1Mbps.   I chatted with support and put in a trouble ticket.  I'm in the Southwestern part of Va.  I've actually had speedtest.net uploads fail to both the Nashville and Manassas Comcast test servers when directly connected to the cable modem.

Hello plimptm,

I apologize for the delayed response. I was able to complete the rest to your modem. Have you been able to test your speeds today? -MPD

Comcast_Michael,

The reset did correct the bandwidth issue, but the gateway has now lost it's static IP assignment. This has cause us a widescale outage because of how our organization's network is configured. This needs corrected ASAP.
