Upgraded my internet speed yesterday; speed has not changed. Was promised it would within 24 hours.

​Yesterday, at about 6:05 PM Central Time, I upgraded from Blast 75 to Blast 150 with a three year contract. I was told that no additional equipment needed to be installed, and that the increased speed would automatically reflect on my service within 24 hours.​
​It has been 24 hours.​
​The speed has not increased.​
​Why?​

Hey there! We truly appreciate you for spending your time this evening to reach out to  Comcast for help with the internet service concern! I know I would have the same concern if my correct speed was not reflecting correctly. You have reached the right place to get this resolved in a timely manner. Just to clarify, the speed is now working correctly? -Gabriel
