Upgraded my internet speed yesterday; speed has not changed. Was promised it would within 24 hours.

Yesterday, at about 6:05 PM Central Time, I upgraded from Blast 75 to Blast 150 with a three year contract. I was told that no additional equipment needed to be installed, and that the increased speed would automatically reflect on my service within 24 hours.
It has been 24 hours.
The speed has not increased.
Why?

Hey there! We truly appreciate you for spending your time this evening to reach out to  Comcast for help with the internet service concern! I know I would have the same concern if my correct speed was not reflecting correctly. You have reached the right place to get this resolved in a timely manner.
