Unable to log-in after password change

I successfully changed our password from the default (highspeed) and am now unable to log-in with the new password.  I am sure I entered it correctly, but to double check, I reset the router (pressed the reset on the back panel) to default settings and repeated the process again.  Any new password I assign, does not work.

Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Hello hipadv, welcome to the forum.

I will set the unit back to default for you to try again.

When you reset the device, did you reset it via power cycle or pressing the button on the back?

Thank you

By pressing the button on the back.  I also tried power cycling after I changed the password the second time.

My modem password is no longer set to default (cusadmin/highspeed) and I have not changed it. Can you remotly reset it/ tell me what it is? Thanks in advance.

Misk, for quickest help don't hijack a thread, start a new one or better yet PM Comcast John.  Since the original user was helped he may not see your tack-on.

Sorry, I changed the password after you set the unit back to default and I am once again unable to log-in with the new password.
