Topic keeps being closed without accepted resolution

We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience. Port 445 being blocked is not a form of censorship, we have only blocked that port for the safety and security of our users. Inbound and outbound traffic is blocked by default on port 445 for security risks, as it is vulnerable to attacks, exploits, and worms (such as Sasser and Ninder).
We keep a full list of all Comcast Business blocked ports here: https://business.comcast.com/help-and-support/internet/ports-blocked-on-comcast-network/
If something changes and/or that port becomes open, we will update that list.
