SNMP on Cable Modem
I just got off with comcast tech support and was advised that they dont monitor bandwidth utilization on Cable Modems. They only monitor on Ethernet Ports.
This surprises me as I am aware that Cable modems did have SNMP parameters that could be enabled( I did this test at COmcast new Jersey Lab)
Is it possible to use SNMP to monitor bandwidth utilization using third party management tools?

While we do offer Business Ethernet availability reports online, we do not currently offer SNMP for standard Comcast Business Internet Services. Are you trying to monitor the overall data usage via Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections?
For more information on Ethernet availability reports, click the Business Ethernet Reports.

I understand. You will want to consult with your local IT. There is software available to monitor WAN connections as well as some advanced firewalls. If you have any additional questions, send me a private message with your full name and number listed on the account. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your day!

SNMP is currently blocked on all outbound and inbound traffic on the Comcast Business network. You would be able to use it internally on your network to monitor devices. However, you would not be able to view this data remotely using SNMP. To remotely monitor traffic on your network, there are several third-party solutions that rely on more secure methods than SNMP.

I just want SNMP enabled so I could monitor my Uplink data use. I am currently measuring my local LAN usage wih my own switch.
