SMTP Backup

We have comcast business service. I want to use the comcast business smtp server as a backup for if my main server goes down.  I am having difficulty getting this to work.  First I had been told to use the stmp.comcast.net but found this is the residential server and that each region has a different server for comcast business.  I have the correct server for my area now and am trying to setup a backup relay to it but apparently my ip addresses are blacklisted.  How do I setup a Windows 2008 virtual smtp server to send to my comcast business smtp server?  How do I get off the blacklist?  (I am guessing I am blacklisted because when I try to telnet and manually do a session it immediately kicks me with an H421 message.

Thanks in advance.

HI razzman7. Open relay is not available on the Comcast.  In order to utilize the Comcast  mail servers, users must authenticate with a valid username and password.  In this instance this would be the same username and password that is used to access the Business Portal.

To locate the mail server associated with your account, sign into the Business Portal, under the managed services tab, click Internet, then click .  this will display the mail server info associated with your account.  Please let us know if additional assistance is required.

Thank You
