SMC8014WG is end of life

How do I get Comcast to replace SMC8014WG, it keeps coming up with can't access memory, need to unplug and plug in twice a day

Welcome pwarnk.  The issue described in your post points to a problem with the gateway.  A service call can be scheduled thru the Business Service Center @ 800-391-3000.   Please let us know if you would like us to contact the Business Service Center to schedule a service call.
