Slower Download Speeds After Install

I just had comcast business internet installed this morning, and already it has slowed down.  I should have 50mbps down and 10 up but speedtest.net maxes out around 23mbps on every host I try.  Comcast's own speedtest tool (http://business.comcast.com/tools/internet-speed-test) showed the same thing.  What's going on?  Why can I not get the full 50mbps down that I am paying for?

Note the temperature of your modem. You're at Docsis 3 and maintaining a 256 qam but other factors may exist.

Hook a cable directly to the modem to a known clean pc with no other cables connected (network cables)

The network cable that you use for your retest look down the side of it and tell me what it says.

Patch txxx etc

Not sure what you mean about the revision correctness.  If you tell me where I can find it I'll check.  I copied these tables from the modem WAN info:

Have ya checked your cable revisions for correctness?

Post your cable levels from your modem.

It's now down under 10mbps.  Not sure if I might have faulty equipment?  At this rate I'll be down to dial-up speed by the end of the day.

It seems to be performing better today, although there were a just a few minutes when it dropped to under 1mbps, which is annoying.  I am used to connections that maintain a constant speed 24/7, and I guess comcast is just not that way.  I'll come back if I continue to have problems.
