Signiant App ports blocked

I need to file a support ticket etc. to get some ports unblocked. (why there are blocked ports AT ALL on business internet is beyond me) The Signiant App DOESN'T work on comcast network. I've tried the same tests on Sonic, ATT. and it works perfectly, but not on Comcast. I even connected directly to my fiber uplink bypassing all firewall/hardware and still had issues.

Why there is no email/chat mechanism for BUSINESS CLASS SUPPORT is just mind boggling. There is no way I'm calling and dealing w/ that 7 layers of h e l l .

This seems to be the only place to type actual words someone will read. /smh

thanks

Hello @Terr_SF Sorry to hear about the issue you are having with the blocked ports. In our case we do have a list of ports that we proactively block that can be found here: https://business.comcast.com/support/article/internet/ports-blocked-on-comcast-network

Comcast Business customers using a product that permits running of an SMTP server and require more information or assistance regarding a blocked port, you will need to contact Comcast Customer Security Assurance at (877) 807-6580 for assistance at they are the team that handles blocked ports and they can see what they can do for you depending on the specific port.

you just copied that from the site. I've read that. how does that help? I'm not calling ANYONE on the phone at Comcast! its torture! (all Comcast/Xfinity employees should be REQUIRED to call into 'customer service' and try to resolve an issue. Then they find out what a nightmare it is.)

While I certainly understand your frustration and hesitation to call in given our main customer service line and how that gets routed. But the number provided above is a direct line to our Customer Security Assurance team for Comcast Business, and they are the specific team that helps with blocked ports. This number skips the main customer service robot for most other departments.
