private IP addresses being sent across internet

I have been using a tool to find all of my IP addresses and I am finding more ip's than I am using localy.  when I do a tracert of one of  the IPs,  I am getting the following info (my IP's have been removed)

yes - i am using private ip address space.

Does comcast have somthing setup in their routers wrong since it is routing this private ip space?
