I am configuring our office scanner and need to be able to send outbound email.

Thank you so much for your time and patience! You have reached the right place for help with sending outbound email! Over social media, we are diligent in resolving all customer issues. It is known that there may be a delay between responses. However, the benefit and great thing about reaching out to us are you can always pick up where we left off at any time of the day! To configure an email client to use Comcast email (@comcast.net), the following settings should be used for sending and receiving email:
Incoming Mail Server Name: https://comca.st/2GYm8a3
Incoming Mail Server Port Number: 993 with SSL ON
If the Mail Client allows you to select an authentication method, choose STARTTLS
Only if Needed: 143 with SSL ON
Outgoing Mail Server Name: https://comca.st/377iFk1
Outgoing Mail Server Port Number: 587 (SMTP)
Only if Needed: 465 (SMTPS)
Encryption: TLS (use SSL only if TLS is not available)
Authentication: Type in your Comcast username and password
Please let me know if this helps.
