Is there anyway to track the status of an outage online? I don’t know how much more USELESS the banner on our account can be:

A service outage for Internet has been reported in your area. We're working to fully restore service as soon as possible.

We're sorry that you're experiencing an outage. Would you like to receive a text message when your service is restored?

We got that banner TEN freaking hours ago. I called after an hour and got a status update that it’s an “unplanned outage”, but nothing else. Do I really need to call every hour to check on a status!?

You can also always sign up for text alerts as well which will text you updates on the status of repairs and the disruption.

Thank you, though it doesn't seem that the site is very accurate. Shows that there's still an outage, but our internet has returned.

I'm happy to hear that your internet is up and running again. While our technicians work to resolve service interruptions you may see your services come back on, however if there is still an ongoing interruption you may lose connection again. Fingers crossed you don't, but it is a possibility.
