November 17th Extended Outage and angered
Both TV and Internet went out hours ago. No success getting any direct response except from a computer telling me technicians were working on a fix. I was unable to get any live person. Was told the computer that the fix wouldn't be done until the next day at some point. It seems to me that no one is really willing to wake up, go to the office, and flip a simple switch to turn it back on. Just because it is after normal hours, I was always told as business class I'd get 24/7 service. I know a storm hit my area and took out electricity as well, but electricity came back hours ago, how long does it take to drive to the local office, walk in and turn Internet and TV back on? We shouldn't have to wait until the next day when the local office opens.

That's the crappiest "helpful" hint I've ever seen.
So we're supposed to plan on Comcast crapping out?

Hello!
Do you have an SLA on your Comcast connection?
If not, and if having lots of 9's in your uptime is important, then you may want to look at setting up an additional connection from another provider as a fail-over connection.
Take care!
