Network disconnecting after reboot about 10 mins . Via Netgear CG3000DCR console looks like DNS?

Since the console is so exceedingly primative it's had to tell what's happening.

 

Issue: Got up today and no internet.

poked around and rebooted modem.

This reestablished internet communication for about 10 minutes, then no response.

Remebering that there's a "diagnostics" page on the netgear console I went there.

This diagnositics page is just being able to run ping from the device.

Ping google.com -> unable to resolve name returned.

Ping  209.116.150.232 -> reply from .... yada yada...works.

 

my DNS servers are 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.76.76...which of course don't respond to ping normally. 

 

Is there some huge issue today with the DNS service or do these modem have some serious problems?
