Netblock Routing

When I first signed up with Comcast business cable internet I was told I could move my /24 IP block to my service.  Now I am ready to move that over to my service I can't seem to get in contact with my account representative.  Perhaps they have left the company or are on holidays?

Anyway, I rang the call centre and they were confused to say the least.  I couldn't get them to put me on to someone that even knew what a netblock was, let alone how Comcast might go about offering the route.

I need to get this worked out as soon as possible, how do I get in contact with someone that knows how to set this up?

Welcome Alany. I apologize for the confusion.  Customer owned IP blocks, /24 and larger, are handled thru Enterprise Service. @ 1-866-524-7482. They can assist with adding your requested level of service.

Thank You

Your block must be portable, not many /24's are.

They are indeed portable:

> status: ALLOCATED PORTABLE

Now all I need is to actually get someone from Enterprise to call me back.  I've called multiple times, left messages, get promised someone will contact me.  Getting pretty disillusioned with the service really. 😕

You need to sign up for metro E or similar to get them to add the route for your block as I believe to do so would require you to have an ASN assigned. They will not assign an ASN to cable internet.
