low download speed

I've been consistently getting 16Mbits/s download speeds and it dropped to 2Mbits/s very recently (in the last couple of days). My upload is pretty decent though (faster than download, at ~5Mbits/s). I've rebooted the router multiple times with no luck.

My download speed is currently 103 kb per second.  That's what I was getting with AT&T.  I didn't expect that from Comcast.  I realize early evening is a high use period, but that is pathetic.

I am a new customer. When the comcast rep was here, and in the hours after he left I was getting 16-20Mbps download speed (I signed up for 16Mbps). This evening I'm seeing 5-8Mbps. I'm noticing slowness in most of my activities, for example watching a movie on Netflix is unwatchable right now because it keeps pausing. Is this something I can expect every evening with a Comcast Business account?

Update, today is my first time with extended use of the service for tele-comuting. I am frequently loosing connectivity with my sessions to servers at work over VPN. This morning speedtests shows my connection at aroun 6Mbps although right now the bandwidth looks good (16-20Mbps). However I am still loosing connectivity with my remote systems.
