Internet Speed and what should we expect?

Hello,

Am a business internet subscriber at the 1G level, (Several hundred dollars a month) I got the service at the beginning of the Covid-19 situation and in all fairness, it has been a godsend in terms of having persistent, stable and speedy internet. But the reality is that I have been speed testing this line daily for the last 45 day and this is is the measurement i get daily. (Sometimes, the download is slightly slower but not by much)

My three questions are these: First, is that 41.83 really what is acceptable as 1G service? Second, currently this connection is dedicated to my machine, but if we grow at all, will the current speeds be able to support multiple workstations and wi-fi connections? (The collateral material that came with the account claimed that we should be able to support up to 15 machines) and Finally, my connection is in the 98105 Zip code, is there any plan to upgrade this part of the network to enable more download/upload parity? Thanks in advance.

Good morning, thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to the Digital Care Team here through the forums and we are so sorry to see that you are having issues with those speeds. I know i rely on my internet a lot for school and work so I can see how frustrating this is for you and you have reached an amazing team to help. Those speeds do look low so we can look into this to see what could be causing the speed issues.

Can you please send us a private message with your name, the full address, and the phone/account number?
