internet issues for the last 3 months
We are a medical office having internet issues since September. I have had a meeting with our IT dept, Comcast tech & supervisor and IT for our Electronic Health Records. We are required to have 2 firewalls and saw that Security Edge was causing the issue as well as DHCP. They have both been turned off since October 17. Yesterday 11/12 we experienced internet drop again and was told by comcast tech as well as the supervisor that there was an update that caused the security edge to turn on again. The tech completely turned off and removed security edge from our account and we were fine until today again at 12pm the internet went down again. I need to get some assistance as we are a medical office dealing with peoples lives and we can't be down with the internet all the time. We thought that the issue was resolved but it is starting to occur again. If I can have this situation escalated to someone that can help that would be greatly appreciated. Hi there, @user_fe6e27! I am sorry to hear that the internet has been going offline. We understand the importance of that not happening and are glad to further help. Please send us a direct message with your first and last name, the medical office phone number, and the service address or account number for the medical office.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or go to https://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list
- A "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it"
