Intermittent connection issues with massive packet loss - Savannah, GA - mostly at night (9pm+)

Been experiencing massive issues with Comcast business in Savannah, GA since late October. We have had 6 technicians come out here to no avail. The internet will be totally unusable for hours at a time due to extreme packet loss, and the problem consitently pops up lately at 9PM or later. The problem appears to get worse with bad weather.

Whitemarsh Island area of Savannah, GA - if that matters. The techs that come out here always do the same crap like looking at the wiring and the upstream/downstream levels. They've replaced the modem a few times. By the way, the issue has nothing to do with WiFi because even plugged directly into the modem the problem will still occur.

I hate that Comcast has a borderline monoploy in this region.

Sounds like you may be seeing some type of an overloaded node issue. Beyond escalating here with an admin, I'd recommend asking one of the techs to have the area supervisor call you. When he does he'll be able to give you a definite answer on if the node is overloaded or not.

If the node is overloaded it's possible Comcast is planning to split it, but when that will occur is hard to say. Since most ISPs do maintenace freezes around the holidays they are likely behind schedule.
