Innacurate notifications

I receive notifications often about services being down when they are not. Support is not able to tell what services the Comcast system believes is down. I would really like to receive useful notifications. Does anyone else have this issue or have been able to solve it?

Hi there, @user_e43f5c! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. Getting notifications that are seemingly not useful can certainly be frustrating. I wanted to let you know though that the way the notifications work they may not always affect you specifically, but others in your area.  You can certainly opt out of notifications with the directions here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/proactive-outage-notifications. If you do choose to do that, you can still check on problems going on with the directions here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/check-service-outage, albeit, manually.
