How do I cancel an appointment?

I had a scheduled a technician for visit to troubleshoot my internet connection. I need to cancel the appointment because I fixed the issue by resetting to factory default settings. I am able reschedule the appointment but unable to cancel it online, since it is over the weekend.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums! You should be able to cancel it via the Xfinity My Account app. If you were running into errors or not seeing the option I would be more than happy to assist you with cancelling the appointment on our end. Please send us a direct message to "Xfinity Support".

 

To send a direct message you may need to:
Click "Sign In"
Click the "direct message" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I used the Comcast Business mobile app to cancel the appointment. I could not see the cancel option on the website. Thanks.
