Getting rid of Double NAT
So, with Comcast not able to put the SMC into true bridge mode with static IP's on the account, is there a way to avoid double NAT with an internal router?

Hello!
I have the Netgear running in "True Static IP" mode with a Sonicwall as my internal router. Runs great. Maybe they can swap out your SMC.
Take care!

Hi Fletcher. By assigning the static IP to your router's WAN interface, with the Comcast Gateway IP as the default, will resolve that particular issue.
Thank You

you can get a static IP on the SMC for a business account and use your own firewall behind it. Why do you think you can't?
