disable security edge

I disabled Security Edge months ago because of all the problems it has caused me. This week it was automatically turned back on without my knowledge or permission. Can this horrible "feature" please be permanently deleted from my account? It is well documented that it breaks DNS for those of us who run our own servers. It wreaked havoc with my email until I realized this evening what had happened. Thank  you.

user_gljo12 Thank you for stopping in for help with the Security Edge feature getting re-enabled. This can happen from time to time, normally after resets or outages, including power outages. There isn't an option while using our modems to permanently delete/remove the Security Edge feature, but I would be happy to help look into that more with you. To send a direct message:
• Ensure you are first signed in, then you will see a chat box icon at the top right of your page. Click that or follow this link here:  https://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/direct-messaging
• From there, click the 'New Message' icon. In the 'To' field, type ‘Comcast Business’.
• Type your message in the text area that appears at the bottom of the window and hit enter to send. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond.
