Connectivity

I actually design networks for a major financial company. I have the luxury of being remote and moved to Jacksonville Florida in 2020. I originally had Xfinity gig speed and I can tell you smoke signals are more reliable than that service. I reached out to Comcast same company but that's the business connectivity side is the house. I switched to business after a few months of many complaints and support tickets. It was so bad my son bought at&t dsl.  Comcast Business was so much better back then than Xfinity. I have been spoiled by Verizon FiOS up in ny. The only outages I had was self inflicted. One of two outages I had was when I rented an excavator and accidentally dug up the fiber and the other was a billing error with DirecTV and FiOS. Today Comcast Business Internet isn't that far off from Xfinity. Everytime it rains it goes down. I have a device that can use multiple ISPs. I have Comcast Business, T-Mobile and starlink. Comcast is by far the worst of the three for stability but provides more bandwidth when it works. I just wanted to post this because when fiber comes here I'm dropping Comcast as fast as it drops my packets. Please don't try and reach out to me. Fix your network or eventually I will leave and not look back when fiber comes here.

Hello user_22d4a8 👋 I appreciate you reaching out in our community to share the experience you've had with your Comcast business services. What you've described is far from the experience we want you to have, and more than anything we'd hate to lose you as a member of the Comcast business family at any point. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), the business name on the account, the phone number for the account, and the full the service address, we'd be more than happy to help however we can.

To send a direct message:
  • Ensure you are first signed in, then you will see a chat box icon at the top right of your page. Click that or follow this link here: https://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/direct-messaging
  • From there, click the 'New Message' icon. In the 'To' field, type ‘Comcast Business’.
  • Type your message in the text area that appears at the bottom of the window and hit enter to send. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond.
