Connectivity Problem

I continue to get an irritating prompt that prevents me from accessing some websites but not others. I get the choice to either reload the webpage (which never works), or bounce. It does go on to say that there's either a bad connection to the modem (not), or there is a connectivity problem (uh, yeah). The problem also extends to my Sony BluRay internet streaming device (same prompt).

curious, what does the prompt say, exactly? and what specifically triggers it on the Sony player?
